Are there any contraindications to Kybella?
You should not have Kybella™ injections if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, are breastfeeding, have an infection in the treatment area or have difficulty swallowing, Before receiving Kybella™ injections you should inform your healthcare provider if you are have had or are planning to have cosmetic surgery on your face, neck or chin or have bleeding problems. You should also inform your healthcare provider about all the medications you are taking including over the counter herbal supplements and vitamins.
What are some of the side effects that can occur with Kybella injection™?
Some potential risks associated with Kybella™ injections include redness, swelling, pain, bruising, firmness, lumpiness or bumps under the skin, nerve injury causing numbness and/or asymmetric smile and facial muscle weakness, and difficulty swallowing.
