Dr. Audrey Beirne is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. She specializes Mohs micrographic surgery for precise removal of skin cancer. With a background in visual arts, Dr. Beirne leverages her artistic sensibility to design optimal surgical repairs to achieve the best functional and aesthetic outcomes.
Dr. Beirne graduated at the top of her class from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where she also pursued an additional year of basic science research focused on wound healing. She then completed her dermatology residency at the University of Miami, serving as Chief Resident and earning recognition for her outstanding surgical skills. Following her passion for dermatologic surgery, she pursued a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and is board-certified in both General Dermatology and Mohs Surgery.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Beirne is deeply committed to education and mentorship. She volunteers at the University of Miami, where she helps train dermatology residents, and has served on the executive board of the Miami Dermatologic Society. In this role, she has contributed to advancing medical education by organizing conferences featuring nationally recognized physicians and innovative topics in dermatology.
